Basingstoke Bulls 1 will be looking to take top spot in OKA Division 1 for the first time this season with victory over Oxford City on Sunday. The sides last met a month ago in the OKA Plate competition with Basingstoke running out 13-5 winners. The Bulls showed the strength in the squad with 7 different players scoring goals.
Last season's champions have had a tough season. A defeat against the Bulls in their first game was followed by three victories in October and November. Since then they have lost every game they have played so will be working hard to try and restore some pride and help neighbouring club Oxford Isis take the title.
OXA Division 2 Champions Basingstoke Bulls 2 are also in action against Abingdon 2. With the pressure off it is likely that Basingstoke will field a slightly less experienced team than have appeared recently although Matt Burns is sure to relish the chance of going head-to-head with Alex Beavan, with the two players at the top of the Div 2 scorers chart.
